CompuCorps Mentoring /Les Mentors de CompuCorps is a national
nonprofit that is a registered as a charity with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (registration #:
86411 9094 RR0001).
Our charitable purpose is: to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charitable
organizations in Canada by the provision of technical volunteers, low cost computer
services and software, technical support and training.
We are modeled after and counseled by CompuMentor of San Francisco that is the oldest technical
assistance group supporting nonprofits in the United States (since 1985).
CompuCorps Mentoring, with over 250 volunteers and 100 completed nonprofit projects, is building our volunteer and technical capability to meet
the critical computer needs of Canadian charities and to help them participate fully in our
network society so they can change the lives of the poor, sick and the dissadvantaged in our local communities.
