| Database Planning If you are a charity whose database (donors, volunteers, staff, clients, inventory, events,...) is critical to your mission, or that wants to upgrade the database or that doesn't have a database, we can help you. To save your agency money, time and resources, a database planning process is essential. The database planning process will help your organization develop clear ideas and agreement about what kind of database you really need, can afford and are able to support. Our Database Planning service starts with an inventory of what you have in house and how effectively the systems are currently meeting your needs. Data are analyzed and solutions designed to meet current and identified future needs. Our consultants create an easy-to-follow plan that contains clear implementation steps, recommended resources, budget, staffing and training requirements. These could require from 5 to 30 hours of consulting time. The assessment of your needs will be done in-person by our consultants, who offer phone and email support throughout the design and implementation process. Having the plan you will know how to get more of your data: you will be able to automate data collection and reporting, and better organize and manage your information.
